Refund & Returns Policy

1. Overview

At Barking Owl, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase.

Due to the nature of our products (alcoholic beverages), certain restrictions apply under EU consumer protection and hygiene laws.

 

2. Non-Returnable Items

We generally do not accept returns for:

  • Opened bottles or consumable products
  • Alcohol products where seals have been broken
  • Products damaged after delivery due to customer handling

This is in line with EU hygiene and consumable goods regulations.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Incorrect
  • Missing items

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We may request:

  • Photos of the product and packaging
  • Order confirmation details

If approved, we will offer:

  • Replacement, or
  • Refund (partial or full depending on the case)

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued if:

  • The product was damaged before delivery
  • The wrong item was delivered
  • The order was cancelled before dispatch

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

5. Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled if:

  • They have not yet been processed or dispatched

Once dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible.

6. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds typically take up to 14 business days to be processed, depending on the payment provider and banking timelines.
